Fresh Line

January 8, 2014

"Regarding your questions about animal testing, Fresh Line does not test on animals either on raw materials or the final product. Verification of this is required from the suppliers for all raw materials used. Moreover,  we do not  employ a third party to perform animal testing for us.
Fresh Line is a Greek cosmetic brand and as a result follows all EC regulations.
Since 2004 all cosmetic companies in the EC can not test their final products on animals.
Since 2009 in the EC cosmetic companies can not use raw materials that have been tested on animals http//ec.europa.eu/consumers/sectors/cosmetics/animal-testing/index-en.htm

Our company and our production unit are certified by ICEA since 2008. (www.icea.it). As a result we belong to LAV, an organization against animal testing
[…] From 2004 on, LAV approves the agreeing firms only after a positive result of the audits, carried out by ICEA. LAV authorizes the use in the label of the European logo […] http://www.icea.info/Aree/CertificazioniNoFood/Cosmetici/tabid/131/Default.aspx?PageContentID=82
China’s Food & Drug Administration (CFDA) has announced that effective June 2014, China plans to remove its mandatory animal test requirements for cosmetic products. Until this time comes, we do not allow the import and commercialization of any of our products that might go under animal testing during its registration process (CFDA informs us in advance). In that case, the product is immediately excluded from our product mix and is not commercialized in China.

We also offer vegetarian ( we do not use any animal derivatives)  and vegan options."

Based on this response I believe that this company is cruelty free, 100% vegetarian and partially vegan!
