Eva-NYC

May 14, 2015

"Proudly, Eva-NYC does not and never will, test on animals. The answer to all but your last question is, no. As far as vegan options; Royal Jelly, derived from honey bees, is utilized in our Skip the Spa Thermal Hair Wrap.  No other Eva-NYC product uses animal derived ingredients."

They answered almost all of my questions and are 100% vegetarian with a lot of vegan options! I feel positive about this brand, however they haven't mentioned whether they require verification from their suppliers. I requested that information and will update.

UPDATE:  July 2, 2015

" Any factory or supplier we use must have GMP documents asserting that no materials are tested on animals."

In my opinion, this brand is cruelty-free!

  1. I just bought this product and am leery to use it because it is not on any Peta, Leaping Bunny, or Cruelty Free Kitten list. How can we be sure the company is being truthful?

    1. As with anything, it's always up to you to use your own discretion whether to trust the brand or not. Even with sources such as leaping bunny or PETA you can't be 100% sure. I always ask them very specific question, trying not to leave any loopholes for them and see how they go about answering those questions. The company could get sued if they're making claims that aren't true.
All opinions expressed on this blog are my own conclusions from the information that I'm able to collect, how you use it and whether you trust it is entirely up to you.
      Hope this helps.
