"First, thank you for contacting us and for being a well-informed consumer. Our products are not tested on animals in any stage of production nor do we hire any third party to do so. We are independently owned and have never made any practice of testing on animals. We sell our products coast-to-coast and have a few international distributors located in the UK and Canada. We do offer a vegan friendly option – our mascara."
They themselves don't test on animals, but they haven't mentioned their suppliers. I requested clarification.

"We do not test on animals. For a list of our ingredients, please go to our website www.chella.com and “click” on any product that is of interest to you. Once you open a new window, below “Add to Cart” there is list of selections to choose from. You would want to click on “Ingredients” and you will see the FULL list for that product."
They still haven't mentioned their suppliers, even though I specifically asked for that in my clarification e-mail. I asked them again, and have yet to receive a response. I will update once they do, but grey area for now.
